The work on the development of abandoned land is carried out in several stages:
- identification of abandoned land;
- land surveying;
- clearing the territory from trees and shrubs;
- soil cultivation;
- sowing of agricultural crops.
In 2022, work was carried out on an area of 102 thousand hectares, of which 80 thousand hectares were sown with agricultural crops.
In 2023, it is planned to return to circulation about 120 thousand hectares of abandoned land.
