514,000 hectares of arable land returned to operation in the Volgograd Region

In the Volgograd Region, work continues to expand the area of ​​agricultural land. As a result of the activities carried out by the regional administration, more than 514 thousand hectares of arable land have been returned to circulation.

Most of the work to put land into circulation was carried out in the eastern regions of the region - in the Pallasovsky, Nikolaevsky, Oktyabrsky, Svetloyarsky and Chernyshevsky districts.

Due to the increase in the area of ​​agricultural land, the amount of land suitable for agricultural production has significantly increased. Thus, in the Pallasovsky district, about 74 thousand hectares of arable land are returned to circulation, which will make it possible to additionally produce about 120 thousand tons of agricultural products per year.

Support of the agricultural industry

The return of land to circulation is one of the key areas of support for the agricultural sector in the Volgograd region. The implementation of this work helps to expand agricultural production, increase the production of agricultural products and strengthen the food security of the region.

In addition to putting land into circulation, the regional administration is also taking other measures to support agricultural producers. In particular, the region provides subsidies for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, the construction and modernization of livestock complexes, the development of crop production and animal husbandry.

Thanks to the support of the regional administration, the agricultural industry of the Volgograd region is developing dynamically. The volume of agricultural production is growing, new jobs are being created in the industry, and the social sphere of rural areas is developing.
