Actress Teri Garr has died
Teri Garr, a veteran actress known for her roles in films such as "Tootsie," "Young Frankenstein," and "The Conversation," has died at the age of 77.
Garr's death was confirmed by her publicist, who said she died of complications from multiple sclerosis, which she had been battling for over 20 years.
Garr was born in Lakewood, Ohio, on December 11, 1944. She began her career as a dancer on the television show "Shindig!" in the early 1960s.
She made her film debut in 1967's "Clambake," and went on to appear in over 100 films and television shows.
Garr was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Tootsie" in 1982.

Garr was married to actor John Rubinstein from 1983 to 1993. They had two children together.
