Arsenal full squad revealed for Preston North End as six miss out and Bukayo Saka decision made

Arsenal will be without six players for their Carabao Cup clash against Preston North End on Wednesday.

Emile Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Cedric Soares, Mohamed Elneny and Reiss Nelson have all been ruled out of the game.

Smith Rowe is still recovering from a groin injury, while Tierney has a calf problem. Tomiyasu has a hamstring injury, Soares has a knock, Elneny has a thigh problem and Nelson has a back injury.

Bukayo Saka is fit to start the game, despite picking up a knock in the win over Fulham on Saturday.

The England international was replaced by Fabio Vieira in the second half of that game, but he has since recovered and is expected to start against Preston.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners were beaten 3-1 at Old Trafford, but they will be confident of getting back to winning ways against Preston.

Preston are a League One side, but they have already knocked out Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup this season.

Arsenal will need to be at their best to avoid an upset against Preston.
