BTB has denied information about the leak of its clients' personal information.

Earlier, a Telegram channel posted information about the data leak of VTB Online customers, including their full names, passport data, phone numbers, e-mails, and other information. The channel notes that we are talking about more than a million customers.

BTB called the information about the leak of personal data of its customers false. The bank’s press service noted that customer data is reliably protected, and the BTB information security system meets the requirements of Russian legislation and international standards.

The Central Bank told TASS that it was checking the information about the leak of personal data of VTB Online customers.
