Interstella 5555 Cinema Screenings

French electronic music duo Daft Punk has announced global cinema screenings of their 2003 animated film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5ive 5ive.

The screenings will take place in select cinemas worldwide on January 27 and 29, 2023. The film, which is a visual accompaniment to Daft Punk's 2001 album Discovery, tells the story of an alien band kidnapped by an evil record producer.

The screenings will feature a remastered version of the film in 4K resolution. They will also include an exclusive interview with Daft Punk, which was conducted in 2003 but has never been released before.

'Discovery' Reissue

In addition to the cinema screenings, Daft Punk has also announced a special reissue of their Discovery album.

The reissue will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats. It will include the original album, as well as a bonus disc of remixes and unreleased tracks.

The reissue will be released on February 9, 2023.
