Friends star Teri Garr dies aged 77
Actress Teri Garr, who starred in the iconic sitcom Friends, has died at the age of 77.
Garr's death was confirmed by her publicist, who said she died of complications from multiple sclerosis, which she had been battling for many years.
Garr was best known for her role as Phoebe Buffay's (Lisa Kudrow) mother, Alice Knight, in the hit sitcom Friends. She appeared in 10 episodes of the show between 1995 and 2004.
