Kyle Kuzma Ruled Out for Wednesday's Game With Groin Injury

Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma will miss Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers due to a groin injury, the team announced Tuesday.

Kuzma, who is averaging 21.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game this season, suffered the injury in Monday's win over the Orlando Magic. He left the game in the third quarter and did not return.

The Wizards are already without several key players due to injuries, including Bradley Beal (hamstring), Kristaps Porzingis (knee), and Delon Wright (hamstring).

Kuzma's absence will be a big blow to the Wizards, who are currently in 10th place in the Eastern Conference with a 20-26 record.

The Wizards will be hoping to get Kuzma back in the lineup as soon as possible, but there is no timetable for his return.

In the meantime, the Wizards will have to rely on other players to step up in Kuzma's absence.

Among those who could see increased playing time are Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, and Corey Kispert.

The Wizards will also need to find a way to replace Kuzma's production on the offensive end.

Kuzma is the Wizards' leading scorer and rebounder, and he is also one of their best three-point shooters.

The Wizards will need to find a way to make up for his production in all of those areas.

The Wizards will host the Pacers on Wednesday at Capital One Arena.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
