The mayor of Irkutsk Andrey Belousov handed over the keys to new apartments to three defenders and their families.

The mayor noted that the city authorities provide all possible assistance to the families of the mobilized Irkutsk citizens. "We provide targeted assistance to each family in need. We help with employment, provide places in kindergartens and schools, support children's leisure," Andrey Belousov said.

The mayor also said that in Irkutsk, the participants of the special operation are provided with the status of a veteran of hostilities. "This gives them the right to various benefits at the regional level," the mayor explained.

The mayor handed over the keys to new apartments in the Akademicheskiy district.

The total area of the apartments is 54, 58 and 89 square meters, they are located on the 8th, 9th and 10th floors. All apartments are fully finished, equipped with plumbing fixtures and electrical appliances. The total cost of the apartments is over 10 million rubles.

The head of the city administration stressed that the city authorities will continue to provide all possible assistance to the families of mobilized Irkutsk citizens. He also thanked the builders for their high-quality and timely work.
