Mowbray’s deputy may become the new boss of Rostov
Tony Mowbray's assistant Mark Venus could be set to become the new manager of Russian Premier League club Rostov.
Venus has been working alongside Mowbray at Blackburn since 2017, and has previously been linked with the managerial role at Motherwell.
However, it is now understood that Venus is in talks with Rostov about becoming their new manager.
Rostov are currently ninth in the Russian Premier League, and have been without a manager since the departure of Valeri Karpin in March.
Venus has a wealth of experience in coaching, having previously worked with the likes of Celtic, Middlesbrough and Manchester City.
