QCA Trick-or-Treating Times
Families throughout the Quad-Cities area will have one of the first opportunities to trick-or-treat on Saturday, October 15 when East Moline, Moline, Rock Island, and Bettendorf will hold their annual trick-or-treat nights.
The official trick-or-treating hours are from 5 pm to 8 pm, but it is always advisable to check with your local city for any specific guidelines.
QCA Trunk-or-Treat Times
For those who prefer a more controlled environment for trick-or-treating, there are several Trunk-or-Treat events planned throughout the QCA.
- Bettendorf Trunk-or-Treat - Saturday, October 15 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Bettendorf Community Center
- Davenport Trunk-or-Treat - Saturday, October 22 from 3 pm to 5 pm at the NorthPark Mall
- Moline Trunk-or-Treat - Saturday, October 22 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Moline Public Library
- Rock Island Trunk-or-Treat - Saturday, October 29 from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Rock Island Arsenal
These events typically feature decorated vehicles handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Many of the events also have games, activities, and food vendors.

Whether you are trick-or-treating in a neighborhood or at a Trunk-or-Treat event, it is important to follow these safety tips:
- Always trick-or-treat with a parent or guardian
- Stay in well-lit areas
