Rain then Snow expected Wednesday & Thursday

Rain will change into accumulating snow Wednesday afternoon and evening. The rain Wednesday morning will be heavy at times. Rain will change to snow at around 3 pm. There will be 1-3 inches snow by midnight. Snow showers will continue through the day on Thursday with another inch of accumulation, ending Thursday evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area.

Wednesday's high will be in the mid-40s. It will be much colder Thursday with a high in the low 30s.

The snow will make travel difficult. Drivers should be prepared for slippery roads and reduced visibility.
