Serie A | Venezia 3-2 Udinese: Pohjanpalo completes epic comeback

Venezia came from two goals down to beat Udinese 3-2 at home in Serie A on Saturday, with Joel Pohjanpalo scoring a last-gasp winner at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo.

The victory moved Venezia out of the relegation zone, while Udinese remained in 14th place.

Udinese took the lead through Beto in the 20th minute, and the visitors doubled their advantage through Gerard Deulofeu in the 55th minute.

Venezia pulled one back through David Okereke in the 69th minute, and Ethan Ampadu equalized in the 85th minute.

Pohjanpalo then completed the comeback for Venezia in the 94th minute, sending the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo into raptures.

The result was a major boost for Venezia, who had lost their previous four Serie A matches.

Udinese, meanwhile, have now lost three of their last four league games.
