Former first-round pick Shea Langeliers will not be in the Oakland Athletics' lineup for Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Athletics manager Mark Kotsay said Langeliers is dealing with a "minor injury" and that the team is being cautious with the 25-year-old.
