Shropshire villagers concerned after being cut off by floods
Homes and businesses have been flooded in Shropshire after heavy rain caused rivers to burst their banks.
The River Severn has flooded homes and businesses in Shrewsbury, while the River Teme has caused flooding in Ludlow.
Residents in the village of Ironbridge have been cut off after the River Severn burst its banks, flooding the main road into the village.
One resident, who did not want to be named, said: "It's chaos. The water is rising rapidly and we're being told to evacuate our homes."
The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for the River Severn, the River Teme and the River Wye.
The agency is urging people to be prepared for flooding and to take action to protect their property.
Shropshire Council has opened rest centers for people who have been evacuated from their homes.
