Sochi Celebrates Black Sea Day with Exhibitions, Lectures, and Swims
Saturday, October 31, marks Black Sea Day.
In honor of this special occasion, the city of Sochi will host a variety of events, including exhibitions, lectures, and swims. The events will take place at various locations throughout the city, including the Sochi Art Museum, the Sochi Philharmonic Hall, and the Sochi Maritime Terminal.
Exhibitions
The Sochi Art Museum will host an exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and photographs depicting the Black Sea. The exhibition will feature works by both local and international artists. The Sochi Philharmonic Hall will host a lecture on the history of the Black Sea. The lecture will be given by a leading expert on the region.
Swims
The Sochi Maritime Terminal will host a series of swims in the Black Sea. The swims will be open to all ages and abilities. Participants can choose from a variety of distances, including a 1-kilometer swim, a 2-kilometer swim, and a 5-kilometer swim.
