The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for numerous counties as a cold front moves through the region. Storms could produce damaging winds and hail.
A cold front is expected to move into the region later Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday morning. The front could produce strong and severe storms capable of damaging winds and hail.
Possible severe weather will include damaging winds producing gusts between 60 mph and 80 mph. Quarter sized hail, heavy downpours, lightning and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning will be possible.
Chilly temperatures expected in time for Halloween
Temperatures will fall into the low 40s by Thursday morning.
In the wake of the cold front, chilly temperatures are expected in time for Halloween. High temperatures on Thursday are forecasted to only reach the low 50s before falling into the low 40s by Thursday night.
Temperatures will likely remain chilly through the weekend, as highs on Friday and Saturday are only expected to reach the mid to upper 50s.
