Suspect shot, killed during standoff with police

Largo, Fla. (WFLA) - A suspect was shot and killed during a standoff with police in Largo, Florida, on Thursday.

Officers responded to a home on 10th Avenue SW around 11 a.m. after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they found a man barricaded inside the home with a gun.

Police said they tried to negotiate with the man for several hours, but he refused to come out. SWAT officers were eventually called to the scene.

After several more hours of negotiations, the man pointed a gun at officers and was shot and killed.

No officers were injured in the incident.
