Naidu Appointed TTD Trust Board Chairman For Two Years: Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set to get a new Chairman. B R Naidu, the owner of popular Telugu news channel TV5, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the TTD Trust Board by the Andhra Pradesh government.
Naidu's appointment was approved by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. He will hold the position for a period of two years.
Naidu is a well-known figure in the Telugu media industry. He is the founder and managing director of TV5 News, one of the leading Telugu news channels in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He is also the president of the Andhra Pradesh Telugu News Channels Association.
In addition to Naidu, the Andhra Pradesh government has also appointed several other members to the TTD Trust Board. These include Dr Suchitra Ella, the chairperson and managing director of Bharat Biotech; Maytas Ramu, the managing director of Maytas Infra; and Jumpala Ramesh, the former vice-chancellor of Osmania University.
The TTD Trust Board is responsible for the management and administration of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, which is one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites in India.
