Volgograd bus routes change due to Central Department Store reconstruction
Reconstruction of the Central Department Store in Volgograd will affect 10 bus routes, according to the city administration.The changes will take effect on July 18 and will affect the following routes:
- №21 (Airport - Mamayev Kurgan)
- №25 (Railway Station - Red October Plant)
- №35 (Railway Station - Volgogradneftemash)
- №55 (Mamayev Kurgan - Railway Station)
- №65 (Zhuravlinka - Red October Plant)
- №77 (Airport - Volgogradneftemash)
- №85 (Mamayev Kurgan - Red October Plant)
- №95 (Zhuravlinka - Railway Station)
- №105 (Mamayev Kurgan - Red October Plant)
- №123 (Zhuravlinka - Railway Station)
Buses will follow a different route along Lenin Avenue and Sovetskaya Street.
Temporary stops will be arranged at the following locations:
- At the intersection of Lenin Avenue and 13th Guards Division Street
- At the intersection of Lenin Avenue and Sovetskaya Street
- At the intersection of Sovetskaya Street and Ordzhonikidze Street
The reconstruction of the Central Department Store is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
