The Seagulls are flying high in the Premier League this season and will be no pushovers for the Reds.

Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Liverpool are likely to make changes to their team for the Carabao Cup tie against Brighton.

Caoimhin Kelleher could start in goal, with Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas coming into the defence.

Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones and Fabio Carvalho could all start in midfield, while Roberto Firmino could lead the line.

Brighton are likely to field a strong team for the Carabao Cup tie against Liverpool.

Robert Sanchez could start in goal, with Joel Veltman, Lewis Dunk, Adam Webster and Marc Cucurella in defence.

Yves Bissouma, Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard could all start in midfield, while Neal Maupay could lead the line.
